Custom image creation and refresh require an operator to open a separate
SSH client, paste the command shown by Paperclip, perform setup work,
then return to the browser to finish the image flow. This is functional
but awkward for a setup process that already starts and tracks a
temporary sandbox session.
### Proposed solution
Embed an SSH terminal in the custom image setup UI. When a setup session
exposes an SSH payload, Paperclip should open a browser terminal backed
by a server-side websocket session, let the operator run setup commands
in-place, and then close the terminal when setup is finished, cancelled,
expired, or disconnected.
### Alternatives considered
- Keep the existing copy/paste SSH command workflow. This remains a
fallback, but it does not streamline the common path.
- Put SSH credentials directly into websocket URLs. This was avoided so
terminal authentication can happen in an explicit first websocket auth
frame rather than in logged URLs.
- Trust the SSH host blindly for every reconnect. This PR instead pins
the observed host-key fingerprint for the setup-session lifetime.

React's incompatible-version runtime error in UI tests.
## What Changed
- Aligned `react-dom` package ranges to `^19.2.7` anywhere the React
dependency set is present.
- Aligned `@types/react-dom` package ranges to the 19.2 line.
- Kept the `react@^19.2.7` and `@types/react@^19.2.17` bumps from #8471.
- Added root pnpm overrides for `react` and `react-dom` so peer-only
consumers resolve to the same 19.2.7 runtime instead of a stale patch.
- Left `pnpm-lock.yaml` out of the PR, per the PR workflow policy; CI
regenerates and shares the lockfile artifact when manifests change.
## Verification
- `cd ui && NODE_ENV=test npx vitest run` passed locally before handoff:
243 files / 1739 tests.
- `NODE_ENV=development pnpm install --lockfile-only --ignore-scripts
--no-frozen-lockfile` passed locally on the rebased branch.
- Confirmed regenerated `pnpm-lock.yaml` resolves `react` and
`react-dom` to 19.2.7 and contains no `react@19.2.4` /
`react-dom@19.2.4` entries.
- GitHub Actions are green on this PR, including `policy`, `Typecheck +
Release Registry`, all general test shards, `Build`, `e2e`, and
`verify`.
- Greptile completed at 5/5 with zero unresolved threads.
## Risks
Low risk. This is a dependency-version alignment only, but React
dependency changes can expose package-manager resolution issues. The
root overrides intentionally constrain the React runtime pair to the
same patch version to avoid that class of failure.

every non-style subtree mutation (a Radix <code>data-state</code> flip,
a markdown re-render, an image lazy-load, an attribute toggle on a
child) re-entered <code>useOnResizeContent</code>'s callback and called
<code>scrollToBottom(scrollBehavior)</code>, locking the viewport to the
bottom until reload.</li>
<li><code>isAtBottom</code> never registered as <code>true</code> on
high-DPR displays. <code>Math.abs(scrollHeight - scrollTop -
clientHeight) < 1</code> is strict-less-than, and Chrome macOS at
<code>devicePixelRatio: 2</code> clips <code>scrollTop</code> one pixel
short of <code>scrollHeight - clientHeight</code> (<code>Math.abs(1)
< 1 === false</code>), so the store never updated and
<code>ScrollToBottom</code> never moved into its disabled state.</li>

<p>the fix combines two layers. <code>handleScroll</code> now tracks
<code>lastScrollHeight</code> alongside <code>lastScrollTop</code> and
releases the auto-stick intent when the user scrolls up with content
size unchanged, ruling out content-driven scrollTop shifts. the resize
callback also bails when neither <code>scrollHeight</code> nor
<code>clientHeight</code> has changed since the last fire, so mutations
that don't move layout never re-enter the snap path. at-bottom
auto-follow during streaming is preserved (verified by appending a
synthetic 600px child while scrolled to bottom; viewport follows to new
bottom). the threshold becomes <code><= 1</code> to absorb the 1px
sub-pixel clip.</p>

Optimistic messages are treated as ephemeral: they only ever live on the
current head branch (the repository evicts off-branch optimistic
messages whenever the head moves) and they are never written to
persisted state (<code>export()</code> omits them). The AI SDK v6
adapter flags the streaming assistant message as optimistic, so when its
client-generated id is replaced by a server-provided one mid-run, the
stale placeholder no longer lingers as a phantom branch (e.g.
<code>BranchPicker</code> showing <code>2/2</code> on a turn the user
never branched). Unlike the reverted blanket id-diff (<a

A direct-SDK smoke run against a real repo (devinfoley/my_test_project @
main) confirmed: `Cursor.me()` ok → `Agent.create` → `agent.send` →
`run.stream()` (30 events) → terminal status `finished` in ~11s.
## Risks
- **New adapter, additive only.** No existing adapter or registry is
replaced; current `cursor` local-CLI adapter is untouched. Default
behavior of any existing agent is unchanged.
- **External dependency on `@cursor/sdk`.** Cursor's SDK is v1.0.x and
may evolve. Mocked unit tests cover the public surface used here; if the
SDK breaks compatibility we update the adapter independently.
- **Cost/budget.** `cursor_cloud` runs on Cursor's billed cloud VMs;
operators must understand they are spending money outside Paperclip's
budget controls when they enable this adapter. Same shape as other
API-billed adapters.
- **No webhook support in V1.** The SDK already provides
stream/wait/cancel/reattach, so V1 does not require a public callback
URL. If a future use case needs out-of-band wakes, we add a Cloud API v1
webhook bridge as a separate change. This is called out in the issue
plan document.
- **Lockfile.** Per repo policy, `pnpm-lock.yaml` is intentionally not
in this PR — CI's lockfile workflow will update it on merge given the
manifest changes.

Add a "View diff" option to the document three-dot menu (visible when
revision > 1) that opens a modal showing side-by-side changes between
revisions using react-diff-viewer-continued. Defaults to comparing the
current revision with its predecessor, with dropdowns to select any two
revisions.
