The Category column carried a static pl-0 to sit tight after the Date column. When the Date column is toggled off, Category becomes the leftmost data column and pl-0 left it flush against the table edge. #582 tried a CSS first:pl-2, but the always-rendered select cell (hidden md:table-cell) stays the DOM :first-child, so it never matched. Drive the padding from the Date column's visibility instead: keep pl-0 while Date is shown, restore pl-2 when it is hidden. |
